Wow!  Really getting into the difference between rabbits and hares!  Hares rely on running to escape while rabbits burrow into the dirt.  Hares have bigger feet and are bigger, in general.  Their newborn is self-reliant  one hour from birth.  Hares haven’t been domesticated.  Yep, definitely a hare.

Rabbits are very social animals; they live in colonies. In opposite, hares live most of the time by themselves. They come together in pairs for mating only. There is almost no fighting among hares - they just pair off.

I guess I’m a hare after all.

I Am Not The Hare

I had a discussion with a friend about how so far, time feels like a continuum, which it is.  And 2012 is nothing special; at least not a beginning.  I feel like it’s just a calendar convention.

I mean of course, you can reset anything in your mind.  But one only resets something with anticipation of something better…

As usual, I’m preoccupied about my health… and finances.  But I have decided to really chill out.  Hopefully that’s not too much of a cliche.  To let things run off my back like water.  There’s another one.  Rushing, hurrying, contemplating, none of these things matter.  Fate is runnin’ ‘ish.  Each of our paths are different.

Which brings me to another point.  Why can’t we just be good, simple people and move forward?  No matter, I’m deciding to simplify my life and I don’t care how that looks or feels to anyone else.  I’ve decided that I don’t care if I don’t belong to any one “club” of humanity (ex. The “I’m Down with My Mother” club, the “I’m Down With God The Way You Want” club, etc).  I’ve invested a lot in the theories of others.  Now it’s time to live my life in a way that resonates WITH ME.

This theory, that theory… you could spend your whole life examining and executing a theory.  All the way into the box, or into the urn on the mantelpiece.

I just want to move slowly, like a tortoise.  For once, I’m not the hare.
